By accessing or using SmartLogs ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

SmartLogs is a platform that allows you to create and host beautiful changelog pages for your products. The Service includes both free and paid subscription plans with varying features and limitations.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes limited features, up to 5 logs, and includes SmartLogs branding/watermark. Custom branding is not available on the free plan.

4.2 Pro Plan

The Pro plan is billed monthly at $5/month and includes unlimited logs, custom branding, removal of watermarks and banners, and access to upcoming features.

4.3 Billing

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• Price changes will be communicated in advance

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service to spam or harass others

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host, display, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service.

6.2 Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SmartLogs and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SmartLogs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SmartLogs from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
